LEADERSHIP POSITIONS
It is essential that delegation leaders exercise the most careful guidance as their groups select candidates for any office. It is not fair to the other Youth Legislators if an official is selected for any reason other than the ability to do the job well.
Candidates should be selected on the basis of the maturity, character, proven leadership ability, and interest. In order to achieve this end, attention should be given in advance to the selection process, which will result in having the best possible nominees. All candidates must submit a properly completed Officer Nomination Form by the deadline.
