• Directions to the Pre-Legislative Session at The New Jersey Statehouse

ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accompany and supervise student delegates at all Program activities;
  
• Explain and enforce the Code of Conduct and YMCA Ground Rules. This includes
  making certain that each delegate is prepared, dressed properly, and behaves
  appropriately;
  
• Attend all meetings on time with the necessary paperwork, fees, etc.;
  
• Assume a leadership role at the Program as assigned;
• Assume responsibility for the conduct, whereabouts, and actions of his/her delegates at all times during the Program;
  
• Be available to provide delegates with support and guidance;
  
• Assume a leadership role to assure that delegates are where they should be at all
  times;
  
• Assume responsibility to assure that all facilities at the hotel and government
  buildings are treated with the utmost respect and care;
  
• Assure that delegates represent the delegation, school/YMCA, and Program in a
  positive manner at all times;
  
• Assist youth leadership, without taking over, in meeting their obligations and
  fulfilling their duties; and
  
• Review and enforce all Program rules and regulations.
